Book Cover Series
This book cover series explores cultural identity through three cities: Beijing, Moscow, and Santorini.
For Beijing, I used red walls, green tiles, and golden roofs inspired by traditional architecture. A Peking Opera mask and a Great Wall silhouette represent cultural heritage and historical identity.
For Moscow, I illustrated Saint Basil’s Cathedral, drawing inspiration from Gothic architecture. The color palette is influenced by Russian Matryoshka dolls, using warm reds, greens, yellows, and natural wood tones.
For Santorini, I focused on its blue and white buildings and romantic seaside atmosphere, using a sailboat as a cultural symbol with blue, white, and soft pink accents.
A smoke-like shape connects the front and back covers, while roof illustrations on the back emphasize each city’s unique character and unify the series.
